Appearance Updates
While official images of the redesigned 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC have yet to be unveiled, spy photos of on-track testing of prototypes have already revealed some notable changes. For one, the headlamps and grille take on a sleeker, more aggressive look. The overall body shape is also more streamlined while the roof provides a slightly sloped look.
There are no interior photos leaked quite yet, but what we do know is that the cabin of the midsize luxury sedan is slated to receive many of the same updates as the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class, including a whole new infotainment system with a much larger screen along with a new steering wheel design.
Performance and Technology Updates
The new 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC is expected to start with a 255 horsepower hybrid powertrain, which will come with the assistance of a 48-volt electric motor. You can also expect standard rear-wheel drive along with available 4MATIC® all-wheel drive.
Infotainment functionality is expected to come via an 11.4-inch touchscreen display with an available 12.3-inch digital information cluster. A heads-up display is also expected to come as an option. You can also expect the new 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC to come with PARKTRONIC with Active Parking Assist along with automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and more standard safety features.
