Tires
Inflation levels fluctuate a lot during the colder months. We recommend checking that all are at a great spot now and performing routine inspections throughout the fall and winter seasons; if an adjustment is needed, you can visit us! We'll also keep abreast of your tire tread and ensure it is at adequate levels for optimal traction.
Battery
Lower temperatures can cause your battery to weaken, and thus, work harder. Ensuring it is properly charged and in prime condition with a service visit before the worst hits is highly encouraged.
Brakes
It’s worth having your brake system examined annually to be sure it is doing everything it can to keep you safe. Brakes are vital in all conditions, but especially in adverse weather.
Oil
In order to keep your car running well, you cannot neglect regular oil changes. Fresh oil keeps the moving parts in the engine well-lubricated and the engine clean overall. Cold temperatures can cause motor oil to flow slowly or even not at all, which puts added, unnecessary stress on your engine. We can check the status of your oil and even recommend a lower viscosity designed for colder weather.
